Day 3 in Vancouver πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ™

Published October 13, 2025

While students at the University of British Columbia enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday, our team took the opportunity to explore a bit more of God’s beautiful creation.

Several of us rode the ferry over to Victoria, where we spent the day walking through the breathtaking Butchart Gardensβ€”a stunning display of God’s creativity and artistry. It was a refreshing day of fellowship, laughter, and awe as we took in the beauty of His creation together.

The other half of our group enjoyed a day closer to the city, taking e-bikes around Stanley Park and exploring Granville Island, soaking in the scenery and community life that make Vancouver so unique.

As we reflected on the day, a common theme emerged, remembering how big our God is. Whether surrounded by mountains, ocean views, or gardens overflowing with color, we were reminded that the same God who created such beauty also cares deeply for each of us. His power and presence stretch far beyond what we can see, yet His love is as personal as ever.

The rest of this week, we will be prayer walking around the UBC campus and tabling in front of some of the classes for Gratitude Week. We’re praying that these moments spark meaningful conversations and help students experience the hope and joy that come from knowing Christ.
