Day 7 in Vancouver π¨π¦π
On our last full day in Vancouver, we joined members of Origin Church to set up the International Prayer Station. Five stations were arranged for people to pray over the UBC campus, the city of Vancouver, the nation, and the world. It was a meaningful time of focused prayer β a place where students and team members alike could pause, reflect, and lay their worries before the Lord.
Throughout the day, we spent time with friends, new and old, sharing fellowship and stories of how we had seen God at work during the week and in our lives. These moments reminded us that mission work isnβt just about events or programs, but about relationships β connecting with others who share the same heart to love and serve.
As our team packed up and prepared to head home, we reflected on all that God had done during our week in Vancouver. We came to encourage and serve, but we left encouraged ourselves β reminded that God is moving in powerful ways on the UBC campus. Seeds were planted, prayers were lifted, and hearts were opened.
Our time in Vancouver was a reminder that ministry doesnβt always require grand plans or perfect words. Often, itβs the simple acts of kindness, the willingness to listen, and the love of Christ shining through ordinary moments that make the greatest impact. We are deeply grateful for every opportunity, every friendship, and every story God allowed us to be part of.
A heartfelt thank you to our FBC brothers and sisters in Christ β and to all who prayed faithfully and gave generously β for helping lift up Godβs name and make this trip possible.
