Settling In and Seeing God at Work

The Ecuador team started their day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel where they stayed last night, fueling up for the adventures ahead. Afterward, they gathered for a devotional led by Gary Pate, who shared insights about his ministry and the incredible work happening in Ecuador.

The team then headed to the ministry center, making a quick stop at a local grocery store along the way. They picked up some Ecuadorian chocolates and a few bottles of spicy hot sauce as souvenirs and snacks. Once they arrived, they unloaded their things and enjoyed some down time, taking a moment to rest and soak in their new surroundings.

In the evening, the team had Bible study at the ministry center. Two precious young girls from the ministry led worship, filling the room with joy and energy and helping everyone connect with God in a special way.

The day ended with wood-fired pizza by the ocean, allowing the team to enjoy the food and the beautiful view. It was a long day and the team was very tired, but every moment was worth it.
