Live in North Georgia (Blairsville) from where Eric serves as the Deputy Personnel Director for Home-Based Staff for SIM USA.  Right now, about 100 missionaries and their families are serving other countries, projects as well as Seconded to other organizations.  These missionaries live within the US but travel constantly overseas supporting SIM work around the world.  Eric is learning the joy and privilege to care for, support, and pastor these missionaries and see up close God at work in many unique ways around the globe.  The connection between these missionaries and the home office is being greatly increased as he brings them into Charlotte, NC to SIM USA 4 weeks a year for meetings, sharing, and Resource Development Ministry.  Please continue to pray that this rotation will be of encouragement and benefit to all.  He has also developed a Field Administrative structure for these missionaries and has divided them into ministry similar teams so they can meet with one another to share and encourage each other.  He is currently training Team Managers to serve each of these teams in meaningful ways.  Several of these are also currently working with Global Frontiers Mission in Clarkston, GA as well as Ethnos 360 in Waukesha, WI to teach and train future missionaries for service overseas.  We started attending FBC Blairsville while still on the Mission Field with SIM in Peru in 2010 and joined in 2012. Eric also volunteers as the Mission’s Pastor for FBC.
