Q: What should I expect when I come to a regular Wednesday night youth service?
A: Every Wednesday night we have a theme related Bible study, sometimes it is an ongoing theme from previous weeks or just a theme for one night. Aside from that you can expect our Acts 29 Youth Band to play music first off then usually a little interactive game of some sorts and then the bible study.
Q: How long is a Wednesday night service?
A: Well we generally start anywhere from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and go until anywhere from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Q: Where is the youth room?
A: When you pull into the church and see the buildings next to the sanctuary, the youth room is the one with the big Acts 29 sign above the door and a red light in the window.
Q: What ages are allowed to be a part of the youth group?
A: We allow really anyone from 7th grade through college. For trips, CentriFUGE is anyone in youth but our trips like New Orleans and Ecuador are just for high school students and college students.
Q: How can I find out information on events?
A: We'll usually try to keep the website up-to-date with event info but if you are uncertain how recent our events have been updated feel free to contact Chris through email or facebook, or call the church office at 706-745-2469.
Q: What should I wear on Wednesday nights?
A: Well first off, start with clothes and these clothes you choose should be modest (as in no super short shorts for girls or guys for that matter) and just be considerate of others and your surroundings. But by no means think that you have to dress up for our youth services.
Q: What does Acts 29 mean or stand for?
A: If you look in the Bible you'll probably notice that there really is no Acts 29. Well in Acts 28 Jesus tells us to carry on the church so thats the meaning of Acs 29, to carry on the church and spread God's love.
